   Most beadlock wheels use a smaller inner weld ring to bolt the outer lock ring together. The tire is crimped between these two rings. This prevents the wheel from slipping on the rim. Rather than seating and sealing against the outside of the bead seat other beadlock setups seat and seal on the inner ring instead. Tuff beadlocks use a full diameter inner ring. This gives maximum slip and leakage prevention. Tuff bead locks area a custom design that is welded on the inside the wheel ridge.   This allows easy rim removal and installing and also prevents the tires from being damaged when they are installed and removed.  

  Tuff bead locks use 1/4" U.S. steel,  have 32 bolt holes 3/8" diameter.
Once you get to 17" wheels and over , the bolt holes will go up in quanity as well. This will allow adequate pressure on the tire.
